Rohde & Schwarz comments IDEAS 2012 to be a successful exhibition

The German multinational company Rohde & Schwarz, having its local presence in the country as a private limited company Rohde & Schwarz Pakistan, participated in the IDEAS 2012 which started on 7^th November till 11^th November 2012. The company is famous for its quality, precision and innovation in the fields of wireless communications for the last 80 years. Rohde & Schwarz has developed the local resources in the country and have established local service centers and engineering support. The company has also brought transfer of technology and knowledge into the country.

The company was instrumental in showcasing their latest state of the art communication solution VCS 4G and also revealed its world’s fastest EMI Receiver and their latest Signal and Spectrum Analyzers FSW. The company attracted several senior officials from the defense and private sectors as well as several foreign delegates from Middle East, Africa and Europe

Rohde & Schwarz also received welcoming remarks from the Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf who admired the contributions made by Rohde & Schwarz in Pakistan, while visiting the Rohde & Schwarz Pakistan (R&S) pavilion, after the inauguration of 7th IDEAS 2012 in Karachi Expo Center.

He took keen interest in the displayed equipment at R&S pavilion specially the live demonstration of voice communication system VCS 4G. He also appreciated the products/solutions provided by the company that has strengthened the defense of the country. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee, General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and others senior Defence and government officials.
