The bench heard the petitions filed by Hussain Bashir, Shabbir Ahmed, Syed Mazhar Shah and others against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government through the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and others. The petitions challenged the decision of the Peshawar High Court in which the court declared the law null and void instead of regularizing the employees. The petitioners were represented by Muhammad Shoaib Shaheen Advocate and Miss Ayesha Malik as counsel while the KP Govt. Additional Advocate General Shah Faisal Ilyas appeared on behalf. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah said that the Peshawar High Court looked into the matter of regularization, the court declared the law invalid. The Additional Advocate General said that I will speak legally before the bench. On this, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah addressed him and said that we only have legal matters, do we also have illegal matters? Shoaib Shaheen said that the court declared that it should have been through money bill. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah said that the High Court does not have the authority to automatically take notice, we send the matter back to the High Court to hear and decide on merit.
