Research, Development and ICT departments of the FCCI will be upgraded

The Research, Development and Information Technology departments of the FCCI will be upgraded as they play a pivotal role in the development of trade and industry.

It was said by Sohail Bin Rashid, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry President, while addressing to the Executive Committee members during a meeting here on Saturday. He said that now is the age of information technology, knowledge and economy and both the departments at the FCCI would be made vibrant to play a pivotal role in the development of trade and industry in the area. He said that with the assistance of police, a ‘Help Desk’ would be set up at the FCCI premises to facilitate members for obtaining police certificates, driving licence and to resolve the problems and complaints relating thereto. He said that an Umra Package would also be started on most economical cost but facility-oriented. He said that the FCCI was working in cooperation with the district administration for the development of Faisalabad. He said that video Conferencing facility would be made available at the FCCI for rapid communication and liaison with the important organisations and institutions. He said that internship programme for youth would be launched in collaboration with various universities in Faisalabad. He said that the FCCI library would also be upgraded to provide instant business information to the members. SVP Riazul Haq, VP Muhammad Asghar, Muhammad Khalid Habib, Naveed Gulzar, Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Amjad Khawaja, Shakeel Ahmad, Inam Afzal Khan, Rana Fiaz Ahmad, Muhammad Ikramullah, Abrar Ahmad, Umar Iqbal, Ubaidullah Sheikh, Sh Muhammad Bashir, Jalil Ahmad Malik, Faizan Nawaz and Nighat Shahid were also present.
