Aleema Khan’s Claim: UK Foreign Secretary Made an Offer to Imran Khan

Talk with Media Outside Adiala Jail – Vow to Convey Imran Khan’s Message

Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has made a new claim stating that Imran Khan was given an offer by the British Foreign Secretary a day before his arrest — an offer that was later repeated.

Aleema Khan said, “The offer came on August 4, one day before his arrest. Then it was repeated later. The British Foreign Secretary made the offer to Imran Khan. Mohsin Naqvi asks who made the offer — he should ask the British Foreign Secretary.”

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan said her main goal was to deliver Imran Khan’s message to the people. She alleged that thousands of cases had been registered against citizens on various dates, including May 9, and that false cases were also fabricated against Imran Khan.

According to her, “They can no longer trap Imran Khan in cases like Cipher, Iddat, Toshakhana, or Al-Qadir Trust because the facts are now on record.” She further claimed that “upright judges within the judiciary will surround the ones who are compromised.”

Aleema Khan stated that, according to Barrister Salman Safdar, a verdict in the Toshakhana-II case could be announced this week, while the hearing of the Al-Qadir Trust case in the Islamabad High Court is scheduled for October 16. She added, “Even if the judge gives a 50-year sentence, it won’t matter, because Imran Khan has already been proven innocent.”

She expressed concern that due to the worsening economic situation, millions of Pakistanis — especially from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — had gone abroad. She said industries were not being set up, leading to a lack of employment opportunities, while corrupt elements were being protected by the courts.

Aleema Khan also alleged that PTI workers who cut a cake outside Adiala Jail to celebrate Imran Khan were arrested later that night under old FIRs. She added that the Toshakhana case hearing is scheduled in the Islamabad High Court tomorrow, but there is a possibility that the judge may not hold the hearing.
