He added that three more consignments would be dispatched within the next ten days under the joint initiative of Alkhidmat, NDMA and the government. “This will take the total to 20,000 families receiving food assistance worth Rs1 billion,” he said.

“This effort is not just about aid; it is a message of love and solidarity from the people of Pakistan to the people of Gaza,” he remarked, adding that despite Pakistan’s own difficulties, including floods, the nation has not forgotten its Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Alkhidmat Foundation has been providing continuous support to Gaza for the past 23 months. So far, it has sent 4,545 tonnes of aid including food items, cooked meals, meat, medicines, tents and other relief supplies.

Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan termed the initiative a “commendable step,” praising the efforts of NDMA and Alkhidmat Foundation. “Pakistan’s support for Gaza is not just humanitarian assistance, but also a demonstration of Islamic brotherhood and solidarity. It reflects our principled and historic stance,” he said.
