Pakistan’s Accession Day, Global Conspiracies and the Decisive Role of Islamabad
The Hindu population in Punjab was only 29.1% and the Sikh population was 14.9%. But the Radcliffe formula of the partition of India was also rigged and manipulated.
Ghulamullah Kayani
The worst virus for this region and especially Kashmir is India. Its massacre of Kashmiris and state terrorism have once again opened up old wounds. Even today, the same deception and international conspiracies are visible. If Mountbatten and John Radcliffe had not sided with India through conspiracy and fraud, India could not have got a land route to Kashmir under the partition formula. According to the 1941 Census of India, the entire Punjab was becoming a part of Pakistan. Because 53.2% of its population was Muslim. The Hindu population in Punjab was only 29.1% and the Sikh population was 14.9%. But the Radcliffe formula of the partition of India was also rigged and manipulated. Instead of giving the entire Punjab to Pakistan, it was divided into its districts based on the proportion of population. Then this partition was also rigged and manipulated. According to the 1941 census, the Muslim population of Gurdaspur district in Punjab was 50.2%, the Hindu population was 25.9% and Sikh population was 18.8%. But instead of giving the entire district to Pakistan, only Shakargarh tehsil was given to Pakistan. In Jalandhar district, the Muslim population was 45.2%, Hindu 27.6% and Sikh 26.5%. But the entire district was given to India. In Ferozepur district, 45.1% Muslims, 19.6% Hindus and 33.7% Sikhs were the population. But instead of giving it to Pakistan, it was also given to India. Similarly, in Amritsar district, which had a Muslim population of 45.4%, Hindu 17.7% and Sikh 35.2%, this district was also given to India instead of Pakistan, contrary to the partition formula. Instead of giving the entire Punjab to Pakistan, it was divided on the basis of the population of the districts. Then, in the interests of India, areas were allocated to Pakistan based on tehsils. Gurdaspur district was not given to Pakistan. It was divided on the basis of the tehsils. According to the 1941 census, the Muslim population of Gurdaspur tehsil was 52.1%. But the entire tehsil was given to India. Similarly, the Muslim population of Batala tehsil was 55.6%, it was also given to India instead of Pakistan. Part of the Muslim-majority tehsil of Shakargarh was also given to India. In addition, the Muslim-majority tehsils of Lahore and Kasur were also cut off and given to India. Radcliffe did not give any non-Muslim majority areas to Pakistan, while he gave a number of Muslim-majority areas to India. These included Ferozepur tehsil (55.2% Muslim population), Zira tehsil (65.2% Muslim population), Ajnala tehsil (59.4% Muslim population), Jalandhar tehsil (51.1% Muslim population), and Nakodar tehsil (59.4% Muslim population). Pakistan did not file applications before the relevant international forums on this blatant injustice. Can Pakistan do so today after 70 years?
