Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has invited UAE’s telecommunications company Etisalat Group to enhance its investment portfolio in diverse sectors of Pakistan’s economy.

PM Shehbaz sharif was talking to a five-member delegation of the Group headed by its CEO Hatem Dowidar in Islamabad on Monday.

The Prime Minister highlighted that providing business-friendly environment and more investment opportunities to all foreign investors is one of the topmost priorities of the government.

He assured the Etisalat Group of all possible facilities for its investments in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan have long-standing relations based on shared cultural and religious values and many Emirati companies have been investing in the Pakistani economy for long.

On the occasion, the CEO of Etislaat Group paid tribute to the Prime Minister for providing a business friendly environment in Pakistan to international companies.

He said Etisalat Group has been successfully investing in Pakistan for the last 19 years and is desirous of increasing its business portfolio here.

The CEO said more than ten thousand Pakistanis are giving valuable services to our company and we are committed to long-term and successful investments in Pakistan in the future.

Ishaq Dar invites Etisalat Group 

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday received a delegation from Etisalat Group, UAE, led by through Group CEO Hatem Dowidar.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for IT, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, National Coordinator SIFC, Secretaries IT & Commerce, & Privatization, and senior Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials.

The DPM/FM highlighted Pakistan’s growing digital economy and the government’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment. He invited Etisalat Group to expand its investments in the country’s ICT and telecom sectors.

Group CEO Hatem Dowidar appreciated the Government of Pakistan’s consistent support and reaffirmed Etisalat Group’s long-term commitment to the Pakistani market, expressing keen interest in contributing to its digital growth and connectivity goals.
