Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Majlis-e-Shura has strongly condemned the unprovoked Israeli attack on Iran, calling it a grave violation of international norms and a dangerous escalation in the region. The Shura expressed full solidarity with the government and people of Iran and called upon Muslim countries to unite in resisting Israeli aggression.
The three-day meeting of the newly elected Majlis-e-Shura is underway at Mansoorah, chaired by Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman. Delegates from across Pakistan are participating in the session.
On the first day of the meeting, the Shura unanimously adopted a resolution expressing deep condolences to the families of those martyred in the Israeli strike, including senior commanders of the Iranian armed forces, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and nuclear scientists. The resolution noted that Israel’s illegitimate state and expansionist ambitions have become a malignant threat to the entire region.
The statement declared that Israel, with full backing from the United States, is committing crimes against humanity and launching attacks one after another on Muslim nations. Such actions, the Shura emphasized, would not be possible without American patronage. The resolution condemned the blatant disregard shown by both Israel and the U.S. for international laws and norms.
The Majlis-e-Shura called upon all regional nations to set aside internal disputes and forge a united front against Israel’s hegemonic agenda. It also urged countries that have normalized ties with Israel to reconsider and immediately sever those relations.
The resolution warned that Israel harbors ambitions to dominate the entire region and stressed that Pakistan must remain vigilant of such threats. It recalled that during past conflicts, including the Pakistan-India war, Israel had extended military support to India. Any Muslim country aiding Israel in a time of war, the resolution stated, would be betraying the entire Muslim Ummah.
The Shura emphasized the need for a unified stance among Muslim nations for the security of Gaza, occupied Palestine, and the broader region. It urged Muslim governments to cast aside their differences and work together to end Israeli dominance.
The resolution also called on the Government of Pakistan to extend all forms of support—diplomatic, political, and otherwise—for Iran’s defense and sovereignty.

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has strongly condemned Israel’s attack on Iran, calling it a blatant act of terrorism. He expressed complete solidarity with the people and leadership of Iran, assuring them that Jamaat-e-Islami and the people of Pakistan stand firmly with them.
In a video message issued from Mansoorah on Friday, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated that Israel has become a rampaging elephant trampling international laws with impunity. He said the Zionist forces continue to commit some of the worst atrocities in human history in Gaza, and now, by attacking Iran, Israel has expanded its reign of terror, dragging the entire region into a dangerous game of fire and blood.
“Israel is nothing without the backing of the US,” Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stressed, adding that Washington continues to provide unconditional support to Israeli aggression and terrorism.
He urged the Government of Pakistan to play an active role in defusing regional tensions and preventing further escalation. He emphasized that Pakistan must not yield to U.S. pressure or intimidation.
The JI chief warned that if Israel is not stopped now, a wave of instability could engulf not only the Middle East but also South Asia. He appealed to the leaders of Muslim and peace-loving nations to unite, intensify pressure on the U.S., isolate it diplomatically, and raise a collective voice against Israeli terrorism.
Earlier, posting on social media platform X, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman termed the Israeli strike on Iran a heinous act of terrorism, warning that the scope of Israeli aggression is rapidly expanding under American patronage. He said the Muslim world must realize that if Israel’s advance is not halted, any one of them could be the next target.
“America’s hypocritical record proves it will protect no one. It continues to stand by Israel as it carries out genocide,” he added.
