Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that nationwide strike on Saturday, April 26, will be observed in protest against the evil triangle of Israel, India, and the United States.

Speaking at the “All Traders Gaza Solidarity Jirga” in Peshawar on Thursday, Haifz Naeemur Rehman urged the nation to unite and send a clear message of rejection against the triangle while expressing solidarity with the people of Gaza.

“This devilish triangle is the root cause of global unrest,” Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated, adding that the entire country should participate in the strike with full conviction. “If the shutter-down strike is combined with a transport shutdown, it will send an even louder message to the world: that Pakistan stands with Palestine.”

He said Israel has been engaged in the genocide of Palestinians for over a year and a half. “Hamas defeated Israel on October 7, and now the Zionist army is targeting children, women, and civilians. Tragically, the ruling elite of the 57 Islamic countries remains silent. These Muslim rulers are fixated on their own power and look toward the U.S. with yearning eyes,” he said.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman praised Hamas, stating it had taught the world the true meaning of resistance. “The recent wave of awakening in the Muslim Ummah for the protection of Al-Aqsa and the first Qibla is owed to the fighters of Hamas and the people of Gaza,” he added. He said the Abraham Accords has been foiled by the resilience of Hamas fighters. “There was pressure on Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and others to recognize Israel — but now, no one can even think of it.”

He called for a complete boycott of products that benefit Israel and urged the people to expose Israeli sympathizers in their ranks. “Those who mock calls for jihad or economic boycott of Israel are nothing less than agents of the Zionist and American agenda,” he said.

Turning to India, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman condemned New Delhi’s recent suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it an act of water aggression. He urged the Pakistani government to take the matter to the International Court of Justice, citing Article 12 of the treaty which prevents unilateral withdrawal. “The international community must take notice of this step by the Modi government,” he said, adding India is pursuing a Hindutva-driven agenda against Muslims, Dalits, Christians, and other minorities.

Referring to the recent Pahalgam incident, he said it was a false flag operation by India to justify further oppression in Kashmir following BJP’s electoral defeat. “This is not the first time India has staged such dramas in occupied areas. The Modi regime is trying to replicate Israel’s playbook in the valley,” he warned.

The JI chief also urged the government to take the initiative in uniting all political parties against Indian aggression. “Even Maulana Maududi (R.A), despite his opposition to Ayub Khan, had unconditionally supported the government during the 1965 war. Jamaat-e-Islami stands fully prepared for the defense of Pakistan,” he said.

The JI chief called on traders and transporters across the country to take part in the April 26 strike with full determination. “Let the world know — we stand with Gaza, and we reject Israel, India, and the United States.”
