CEO OF USF MAY CHANGE

ISLMABAD (SPECIAL REPORT)

This was learnt from a well placed source that wished anonymity due to gravity of the matter and further told that the issue of replacing the CEO was raised during a high level meeting of HRGC which was held under the supervision of Federal Secretary and the meeting was attended by CEO PTCL and also Head of Zong Pakistan. It was during this meeting that disappointment was expressed on the performance of CEO Mr. Asher Riaz Siddiqui and Secretary Company Mr. Hassan Shikwa and was decided that the recommendation should be forwarded that both should be relieved from their duties.

The recommendation was forwarded to the members of the board through email as their approval on this matter is imperative. This is due to the fact that all of the Board has to be unanimous on the decision or else the recommendation will be rejected. There have been reports that some members of the board have already agreed with the decision.

Mr. Asher Riaz Siddiqui was reached for a comment but he was reluctant to say anything on the matters and said that he was unaware of any of these developments.  Under the predefined rules and regulations these kinds of matters are discussed and deliberated during the formal meeting of the Board of Directors.
