Pakistan Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh says enhanced economic and investment ties are critical for strong and sustainable Pak-US Relations.
Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh was talking to a delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, which is currently visiting the United States.
The Ambassador said the United States remains Pakistan’s largest trading market, however, there is a huge potential to increase current business volume several-fold.
He said low costs and superior quality give Pakistani products a competitive edge over those from other countries in the region.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh stressed a need to focus on non-traditional exports. He said by deepening business relations and catering to the market needs, the business volume can be increased significantly.
Meanwhile, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries is organizing a one-day business conference and expo in Virginia, where Pakistani products will be showcased to US business community.
