Israeli brutality in Gaza continues. In the last 24 hours, 60 more Palestinians were martyred in attacks by the Zionist army, including 31 people who were trying to obtain aid, while 343 others were injured.

According to a report by a Qatari broadcaster, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that after Israel’s latest attacks, many people remain trapped under the rubble, and ambulances as well as civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

The ministry said that in the most recent 24-hour reporting period, at least 60 Palestinians were killed and 343 others injured. It further noted that among those killed in this period were 31 individuals seeking humanitarian aid.

According to the ministry, since October 7, 2023, the total death toll from Israeli attacks has risen to 62,064, while 156,573 people have been injured. It is worth noting that since Israel ended its unilateral ceasefire on March 18, at least 10,518 Palestinians have been killed and 44,532 injured in subsequent assaults.

The ministry added that since the beginning of the war, nearly 1,996 Palestinians have been killed and more than 14,898 injured specifically while attempting to secure humanitarian aid.

It also reported that due to hunger and malnutrition, three more Palestinians died within the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll from starvation to 266, including 112 children.

Meanwhile, a day earlier, the Palestinian resistance group Hamas accepted a new ceasefire proposal for Gaza and conveyed its response to mediators. According to AFP, a senior Hamas official stated that the group had agreed to the plan as part of renewed diplomatic efforts to end the fighting that has persisted in Gaza for more than 22 months. The United States, along with Egypt and Qatar, has been working to secure a long-term truce. Following the receipt of the new proposal from the mediators, Hamas announced its readiness to enter negotiations.
