Alkhidmat Foundation launches ‘Banu Qabil’ Program in North Punjab, announces free IT courses for 50,000 youth

Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab has launched the Banu Qabil program, under which 50,000 young men and women from Rawalpindi, Gujrat, and Sargodha will be offered free modern IT training courses. The announcement was made by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami North Punjab, Dr. Tariq Saleem, at a press conference in Rawalpindi.
Dr. Tariq Saleem said the initiative is aimed at equipping youth with advanced digital skills to enable them to secure employment and freelancing opportunities, ultimately contributing to Pakistan’s vision of becoming an IT powerhouse. “Our dream is to make Pakistan an IT superpower, and Banu Qabil is part of this struggle,” he remarked.
The formal launch ceremonies will be held in Rawalpindi on October 12, Sargodha on October 17, and Gujrat on October 30. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, will participate as the chief guest, along with presidents of Chambers of Commerce, IT experts, and representatives of educational institutions.
The six-month training program will cover specialized courses in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data science, graphic designing, and digital marketing. Graduates will be awarded recognized certificates by the Punjab Technical Board and international partners. Additionally, those completing job-oriented training will be provided employment opportunities in collaboration with partner companies.
Dr. Tariq Saleem added that Pakistan’s IT exports are expected to grow by $50 million annually through freelancing once the program’s participants enter the global digital market. More than 100 institutions and companies have partnered with Al-Khidmat Foundation for this initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, President Alkhidmat Foundation North Punjab Rizwan Khan, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Rawalpindi Syed Arif Shirazi, President Alkhidmat Foundation Rawalpindi Haroon Rashid, and Sajid Kamal expressed confidence that the Banu Qabil program would prove to be a milestone in youth empowerment and digital economic growth.
