The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is fully committed to addressing the concerns of the business community and residents on a priority basis, in line with the vision of its Chairman, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa. This assurance was given by Faisal Naeem, Director General Building Control of CDA, during an interactive session held at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) with a delegation of the Builders Association Sector H-13, led by its President, Sardar Khurshid Ahmed Khan.
The session was graced by President ICCI Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, and a number of ICCI Executive Members.
Addressing the participants, Faisal Naeem urged the Builders Association to submit their development plans at the earliest to facilitate their timely regularization, enabling smoother processes for the builders. He acknowledged the pivotal role played by ICCI in resolving business community issues in coordination with CDA and appreciated the Chamber’s consistent support.
ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi reiterated the Chamber’s firm commitment to acting as a bridge between the private sector and the government to enhance ease of doing business and promote economic development. He emphasized the importance of unity among the business community and assured that ICCI remains dedicated to protecting their interests.
Builders Association President Sardar Khurshid Ahmed Khan highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by builders and thanked the CDA leadership and ICCI for their continued cooperation and proactive efforts in addressing their concerns.
In his welcome remarks, ICCI Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui said that the Chamber represents the true voice of the business community and urged members to bring their issues through this platform for practical and timely solutions.
Vice President ICCI Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, in his vote of thanks, expressed gratitude to both the Builders Association and CDA for showing trust in ICCI as a facilitator of dialogue and cooperation.
The session was also attended by former ICCI President Mian Mohammad Akram Farid, Executive Members Chaudhry Aftab Ahmed Gujjar, Mohammad Ishaq Sial, and Builders Association office bearers Malik Changeez, Malik Shahbaz, Yousuf Khattak, Basharat Gujjar and Wahab Butt among others.
