Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, strongly condemned the American attack on Iran and said that the Government of Pakistan declared Trump a “messenger of peace,” and yet he started bombing Iran. He stated that despite the presence of 8.8 million troops in Muslim countries, the massacre of unarmed Palestinians continues in Gaza. America and Israel are enemies of humanity. America can never be our friend—we must gain freedom not only from America but also from its loyalists.
He urged the youth to support the global movements of truth and justice through digital platforms. Youth must become digital ambassadors and take to the streets for their rights. We must remain vigilant to ensure no one sells us out again. Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman also inaugurated the “Red Maududi App,” which features content and writings related to Syed Maududi.
While addressing the Youth Digital Summit at the Convention Center, organized by the Jamaat-e-Islami Media Cell, he congratulated the young participants and appreciated the strong representation of women at the event. He said that after attending this summit, the youth will be able to represent Pakistan effectively as digital ambassadors.
“America has destroyed world peace by attacking Iran,” he said. “Trump declared just yesterday that they would wait two weeks before taking any action, but broke that promise on the very first day. Right now, America has no regard for moral or human principles. America’s decline has begun, and everyone must unite against it.”
He added that Israel has been committing genocide in Palestine for two years, and though the International Court has declared Israel a criminal, no one dares to stop it. “Iran did not attack Israel, so why did Israel attack Iran?” he asked. “Generations of Palestinians have been born in refugee camps. Hundreds are imprisoned in Israeli jails. Hamas’s struggle is legitimate under international law, but America labels it as terrorism due to their resistance.”
“Trump, who was called a messenger of peace, has dropped bombs weighing more than 2,000 kg on Iran,” he said. “The people of Gaza have held up a mirror to the world. Despite 8.8 million troops in Muslim countries, children are martyred in Gaza daily. Between 80 to 100 people are being killed every day, 50 of whom are children.”
“Israel has attacked Iran, and now Iran’s missiles are reaching Israel. They will have to back off. This tyranny must stop. Support the truth and justice movements happening around the world. Stand with those who raise their voices for Palestinians.”
He criticized global institutions: “What kind of democracy and United Nations is this where one veto power stands against the entire world? America supports the bombing of Gaza. America is the killer of humanity. They favor monarchies and dictatorships and never allow Islamic governments to take power. Instead, they install their puppets.”
“Trump promised during his election campaign that wars would end—Ukraine, Gaza. But the people who supported his campaign are now billions richer. One percent of the world owns as much wealth as the other 95 percent combined. America’s weapons industry thrives on war. Their economy depends on it.”
“We stand with Iran, Gaza, and all the oppressed. Capitalism is failing to deliver. Our religion provides a complete system that views all humans equally.”
“This is the age of social media. Previously, the U.S. used mainstream media to fool its own people. It invaded Iraq based on lies and killed millions. It looted Iraq’s resources. In Vietnam and Japan, America killed millions. They controlled the media, but now social media is amplifying the voices of the oppressed and uniting people. Thousands have been martyred in Palestine, and this has exposed Israel globally.”
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said that 78 years have passed in Pakistan, yet a specific class still rules the country. They don’t want agriculture to develop but have occupied it. The salaried class paid 500 billion in taxes, whereas feudal lords paid only 5 billion. The education budget is 2 trillion rupees, but this is not spent on children. Over 26.2 million children are out of school. Only 5 to 6 percent of students from schools make it to colleges. They destroy schools and then say they are outsourcing them. In Punjab, 15,000 schools have been outsourced.
“After education, youth don’t find jobs. No university charges less than one lakh rupees per semester for IT education. Due to this, they can’t afford it. What will you make of children out of school—drug addicts? Terrorists? Those who imposed the Form-47 government on us are the real national criminals. The right to rule belongs to the people—not to a few individuals.”
“The state does not mean the military or judiciary; it means the people. Power should go to those chosen by the public. The state must provide education opportunities. If college and university education were made free, it would only cost 500 billion rupees. Sadly, our children don’t even realize they’re being exploited. Education is not a business, but its commercialization has shut the doors for the poor. We must create political awareness for education.”
He criticized energy policy: “The government has paid 2 trillion rupees to IPPs. All taxes on electricity should be removed, and tariffs should be lowered. People don’t have access to health facilities. Despite increased budgets, no relief is reaching the public.”
“Youth must not lose hope in Pakistan. People have made great sacrifices for this country. Pakistan is not the property of a few—it is ours. We must liberate it from these few people. Pakistan was made for a purpose, and we must fulfill it. People in Pakistan support Islam and the family system, which has collapsed globally. Our youth must value this.”
He concluded: “The majority in Pakistan are youth. Use your talents for the country. Free the system. Pakistan gained status through war with India. Don’t let that status be squandered by awarding Nobel Prizes. Trump is part of the Gaza war, bombing Iran, and is a liar. The people of Pakistan are not Trump’s slaves. Our rulers are America’s loyalists. When the government announced something, even the opposition went silent. Trump campaigned in the name of peace. Never expect anything good from America—they are enemies of humanity, promoting Crusader agendas. Don’t fall for their deception.”
“Pakistan must negotiate with everyone while safeguarding its sovereignty. Be vigilant so we are not sold again. We must gain freedom from America and its lackeys. Do not respond to abuse on social media with more abuse—maintain your standards. Only Jamaat-e-Islami holds internal party elections. We will not let the Pakistani nation become divided. Speak with reason. No political party in Pakistan is concerned about Gaza, Kashmir, or education—that’s why we have to do all this. We represent the middle class.”
