Indian YouTube Channels, Video Links, and Websites Blocked

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has blocked 16 Indian YouTube news channels, 31 YouTube video links, and 32 websites for spreading false information and anti-Pakistan propaganda. According to the report, the PTA stated that this action was taken in light of the current regional situation to safeguard national security and Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.
The blocked content included misleading and harmful narratives aimed at influencing public opinion and damaging national unity. This step is part of the PTA’s ongoing efforts to curb misinformation and ensure the responsible use of digital platforms.
The statement added that the PTA is committed to providing a safe and trustworthy internet environment for telecom users in Pakistan. The authority will continue monitoring online content and will take strict action against material that goes against national interests.
