Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman launched a scathing attack on both the government and opposition, saying they are subservient to Washington amid the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza.

Speaking at the Gaza March in Multan, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said, “Both the rulers and opposition are looking towards Washington with hope — they are all part of the ‘Association of America’s Slaves.'”

He questioned the silence of Pakistani leadership in the face of Israeli atrocities. “The entire Muslim Ummah stands with Gaza. Rulers must clarify where they stand. Represent the sentiments of the people or step aside,” he demanded.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman condemned ongoing campaigns against the boycott of Israeli products and against religious scholars’ fatwas supporting the boycott, saying such elements are agents of Israel. He announced that the boycott and protest campaign would be further organized, warning that supporters of Israel will be made an example by the nation.

He called on the government to convene a meeting of Army and Naval Chiefs from Islamic countries to issue a strong warning to Israel. “Understand this well — Palestine is a matter of our faith. If Zionist forces kill our children, we will awaken the Ummah and take revenge,” he warned, lamenting the silence of Muslim rulers but asserting that the Pakistani nation is not spineless.

The JI Chief announced that on Sunday, Jamaat-e-Islami will gather a sea of people in Islamabad, urging the rulers to read the writing on the wall, or history will remember you as cowards.

He decried the inaction of the 56 Muslim-majority countries and said Israel is aiming at Pakistan’s nuclear program and pushing for the vision of Greater Israel. “Palestine is our heart,” he said, calling on people to prepare for a robust boycott campaign and announcing a nationwide strike on April 26, saying “the whole of Pakistan will come to a standstill.” He said that religious leadership is fully on board and that Pakistan would lead the global strike in support of Palestinians.

He welcomed the participation of women in Gaza marches, calling it a sign of revolution. The JI chief stressed that the bond with Gaza is rooted in faith and the Qur’an. “The mujahideen of Hamas are standing firm against global powers. Israel is bombing children and hospitals and targeting unarmed civilians with white phosphorus bombs,” he said, adding that the United States is the biggest supporter of Israeli terrorism. “Both America and Israel are complicit in the genocide of Palestinians, enabled by the disgraceful inaction of Muslim rulers.”

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman praised Hamas for defeating Israel despite limited weaponry, calling it the crown jewel of the Muslim Ummah and a symbol of resistance for oppressed people everywhere.

He also criticized the history of U.S. interventions and atrocities — from the genocide of Native Americans to the nuclear bombing of Japan, and from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan. “America is no one’s friend. It uses governments and discards them. Time has come to unite against American imperialism.”

He condemned the reluctance of both the government and opposition to speak out against the U.S. and Israel. “Anyone who questions the effectiveness of the boycott campaign is an agent of America, Israel, or the Zionist lobby,” he said. “These are not amateurs on social media — they are seasoned activists.”

Calling the current leadership slaves of America, he urged them to “raise their voice against Israel.” He said the JI will teach every child that “Palestine is ours — it is a matter of faith.” He recalled that Quaid-e-Azam had called Israel an illegitimate child of imperialism, warning that any move to recognize Israel would face massive public Backlash.

He demanded the government engage with leaders of all Muslim nations, send delegations worldwide, and organize a new Freedom Flotilla to break the siege of Gaza.
