Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has called for collective efforts to take the country forward on the path of development. He said that economy of the country has been stabilized and Pakistan would be seen at the international arena in next few years. He said that there $18 trillion mineral reserves in Pakistan, adding that those who are not the well wishers of Pakistan want to see you default, adding that these forces could not digest an atomic Pakistan. Ishaq Dar said that we are an atomic power, adding that Pakistan is lagging behind in strong economic power. He said that the day is not far away when Pakistan will stand along with the developed countries, adding that we have to become the strong economic power.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with the ground breaking of the building of Competition Commission of Pakistan in Islamabad on Tuesday, Ishaq Dar said the country has immense potential and the government is working tirelessly to explore all the areas.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that economy is now growing and the country is heading towards development trajectory.
Ishaq Dar emphasized the need to take on the cartels, stating that the Competition Commission of Pakistan was established for this purpose.
The ceremony was also addressed by Finance and Revenue Minister Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister Ali Parvez Malik and Minister of Law and Justice Senator Chaudhry Azam Nazeer Tarar Advocate.
