She said she returned to Manipur and filed another Zero FIR at the Churachandpur police station on the 30th of May.

She said, ‘I was hospitalized for several days, but no one contacted me to record my statement. The hospital was just a few meters away from the Thana (police station) in Imphal. The girl said, ‘They might have assumed that I was dead when they took me there.’ When I regained consciousness, I could hear that I am alive. Maybe they thought I was dead when they took me there. When I regained consciousness, they shifted me to the ICU of Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal. I was told that the policemen took me there. In response to the viral video case, the Manipur Police has arrested four individuals. The Manipur Police informed that three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the viral video case, making a total of four arrested so far. According to the Mint newspaper, the police stated that they are making every effort to apprehend all the culprits and conducting raids for the same.
“We are still hearing that these attacks are still happening, but there seems to be a decrease in them. The renowned author Sangeet Jha criticized Prime Minister Modi, saying, ‘The 56-inch chest man spoke about Manipur after 78 days for just 36 seconds. And that too after the shameful government condemnation from the public and the Supreme Court.’ The Hindu newspaper has published a report on further violent incidents, mentioning incidents of a 45-year-old woman being set on fire. A user named Saba Khan wrote with two videos, ‘After the restoration of the internet, horrifying videos are emerging from Manipur. In the first one, Meitei extremists entered Manipur University and targeted Kuki students by checking their identity cards. In the second one, terrified Kuki girls are recording videos while the extremists are raping them in the hostel.’
Meanwhile, Manipur Police has arrested four individuals in connection with the viral video. According to Manipur Police, three more suspects have been arrested in the viral video case, bringing the total number of arrested individuals to four. According to Mint newspaper, the police stated that they are making every effort to apprehend all the culprits, and raids are ongoing for that purpose.”
