President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari has said that the construction sector in Pakistan has performed excellent services for the last two decades. While this sector has supported the government in providing basic needs like housing to the people, it has also created sustainable employment opportunities for millions of people. Gulberg Green Islamabad made his name on the basis of excellent location, infrastructure and timely delivery. I congratulate the new body on its victory in Gulberg Estate Agents Association elections. Their victory is a reflection of the confidence of all members.

He expressed these views on the occasion of his visit to Gulberg Islamabad yesterday. President Islamabad Chamber along with the delegation congratulated the entire body including President Najeeb Elahi Malik, General Secretary Naveed Malik on the victory in the State Agents Association elections and expressed the hope that the newly elected body will serve the interests of society and citizens.

President Islamabad Chamber said that the construction sector is developing rapidly. This sector has benefited the government, industry and common man. By removing the difficulties faced by the construction industry, the government can not only get more revenue but also meet the annual housing requirement which is increasing with each passing year. He said that the government and the industry should work together to ensure that all the raw materials are sourced in Pakistan and that the industry depends less on imports.

The newly elected president of Gulberg State Agents Association Najeeb Elahi Malik said that I am grateful to the president of Islamabad Chamber and the entire business community with whose support we got this victory, the trust that our people have shown in us. We will work day and night to fulfill this, the society has got this position with the joint efforts of state agents and administration.

Former President FPCCI Zubair Malik said that construction will increase in the coming years due to the development of construction sector and increase in demand. In this way, other industries related to the construction sector will also develop. Secretary General United Business Group Zafar Bakhtawari said that people have expressed their confidence in the body that won the State Agents Association elections.

I hope that the newly elected body will play an active role in solving the problems of the traders in collaboration with the chamber. With the development of the construction sector, 40 industries related to it will get a boost while creating ample employment opportunities.
