The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Muhammad Usman Chachar, Chief Secretary of Azad Kashmir and the Chairman of the Bank. The directors who participated in the 63rd meeting of the board held at Civil Secretariat yesterday included, President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Khawar Saeed, Secretary Finance Mr. Ismatullah Shah, Secretary Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Irshad Ahmad Qureshi and Secretary Industries, Commerce and Minerals. Mr. Wajahat Rashid Baig, Independent Directors Mr. Mubasher Nabi, Mr. Zulfikar Abbasi and Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Shahid Shahzad Mir were also present. Appreciating the steps taken for the development of the bank and the business results, the Chief Secretary said that all possible steps are being taken to make the financial institution of the state a leading bank. He directed to further improve the services to increase the business of the bank. At the beginning of the meeting, President Bank welcomed the Chief Secretary on assuming charge as Chairman. He informed about the important points of performance, he said that the bank’s profits, deposits, assets, domestic remittances are continuously increasing under the patronage of the government. He expressed his determination that by benefiting from Mr. Chairman’s capabilities, the progress of the institution and the services of the customers will be accelerated.
