UAE Investors delegation visited Federation Of FPCCI capital Office, Abdullah Al-Tahiri & Ibrahim Alhaj, showed interest to exploring business and investment potential in Pakistan.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Investors delegation visited Federation Of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) capital Office, Islamabad and met with Mr. Qurban Ali, Former Vice President FPCCI & President Nagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry and showed interest in Pakistan’s economy for JVs and investment. The delegation comprised of Chief Executive Officer of Multi Jobs Construction & Advertising Company Ibrahim Alhaj, CEO Ayan Construction Abdullah Al-Tahiri & Director Hussain Al-haaj. Sher Nabi Khan President Ghizar Chamber, Shafqat Hussain VP Nagar Chamber, Muhammad Ali Ayan and other were also present on this occision.

Abdullah Al-Tahiri & Ibrahim Alhaj, showed interest in expanding their business globally and they are exploring business and investment potential in Pakistan. They said that  UAE Investors plans to invest in Pakistan in various economic sectors as they want to expand their  investments in the South Asian nation.  UAE and Pakistan have good potential to enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation in many areas including agriculture, food industry, tourism, hospitality, healthcare and others.

Speaking at the occasion, Qurban Ali, Former Vice President FPCCI &  President, Nagar Chamber of Commerce & Industry said that “We consider the UAE to be an important strategic and economic partner for being located in the neighbourhood, playing an important role in ensuring peace, stability and economic development in the region and having potential for joint socio-economic development,” He stressed that both countries should develop strong trade and economic relations to achieve more beneficial results. He said that several companies of UAE are already doing successful business in Pakistan in aviation, oil, ports & shipping, banking, telecommunications, insurance, real estate, food and technology sectors.

He further highlighted various potential areas for investment in Pakistan and said that Both countries have great scope to promote trade in many areas. Pakistan has strong strategic, diplomatic, and economic relations with UAE. He said that Gilgit Baltistan Region, KPK, Punjab, Sindh, province of Pakistan & Azad  Kashmir has great opportunities for the exchange of tourism. UAE Investors need avail the opportunity of the CPEC project, Tourism, Hoteling, Hydro, Construction, Infrastructure Development, and other Sectors.  Pakistan’s huge natural resources can be utilized for the enhancement of bilateral trade relations.

Sher Nabi Khan, President Ghizar Chamber of Commerce & Industry Said that Pakistan is rich in natural resources, and to utilize these resources, the interest of investors is very keenly increasing. Pakistan has lots of potential for speedy economic growth. He further said that Pakistan is geographical and strategically has an important position in the region and has vast opportunities in the sectors of manufacturing, textile, IT, Mine & Minerals, Gems Stone, Hydro Power, Tourism, Construction, and other relevant industry and trade sectors for Investment.
