Exchange of trade delegations of Ukrainian & Pakistani traders is a matter of urgency: Sheikh Asif Idrees

President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry Sheikh Asif Idrees has said that exchange of trade delegations of Ukrainian and Pakistani traders is a matter of urgency and trade between the two countries must be promoted.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador to Afghanistan Makin Chouk in Islamabad. Chairman Nadeem Sheikh, Senior Vice President Chaudhry Muhammad Akram, Vice President Wasiullah Khokhar, Tariq Jadoon, Sajid Butt, Sardar Saqib and others were also present on the occasion.
Sheikh Idrees said that Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry is working for the traders associated with small industry in Rawalpindi region and the number of members is increasing day by day. The Chamber is playing its role in expanding this business which includes parts, electronics and food. We wish that there would be more opportunities for small traders to visit the exhibitions held abroad. He said that there are opportunities for tourism in Pakistan. There are opportunities to promote tourism in Northern Areas Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir.
On the occasion, the Ukrainian Ambassador thanked the Chamber delegation and said that trade between the two countries would be further enhanced.
Sheikh Asif Idrees said that the small traders and industrialists of Rawalpindi are committed to national and international representation. The role of SMEs has not been clarified yet but we will try our best to make them prominent in the national economy.
He said that the efforts will be made at every forum to bring relief to the government Delegations of Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry will visit different countries and participate in exhibitions in these countries to promote exports of Pakistani products. In this regard, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry has decided to send its delegations to trade fairs in Turkey, Dubai and other countries. He said that it was important to participate in foreign trade fairs.
