Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Chief Secretary Punjab Kamran Ali Afzal  and IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan were also present in the meeting.

The Prime Minister was briefed on various administrative and development issues of the province. Update on different ongoing development and public welfare schemes was also given.

Moreover, the Prime Minister  was apprised of various measures to control inflation and maintain law and order situation in the province.

The Prime Minister said,” We are fully aware of the suffering of common man due to inflation. The Government is working hard to provide maximum relief to people by taking sustainable steps. Price control committees have been mobilized at district and tehsil level to control inflation.”

“Indiscriminate crackdown on profiteers and hoarders would continue,” he added. Moreover, the Prime Minister  directed the authorities concerned to complete all ongoing development projects in Punjab within stipulated time frame to facilitate the masses. He added,” Best quality of all public welfare projects must be ensured for the benefit of people.” The Prime Minister said,”Law is equal for all. No effort would be spared to ensure rule of law.”

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. SAPM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan was also present in the meeting. Steps taken by the government to improve Punjab healthcare system and the progress regarding launching of Health Cards was discussed in the meeting. Prime Minister was also briefed on COVID Vaccination drive and preventive measures regarding dengue. The Prime Minister directed to accelerate the pace of work on Mother and Child hospitals in Mianwali and Attock and mental health initiatives by the government.

Punjab Minister for Forest Muhammad Sibtain Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Muhammad Ali Akbar Khan also attended the meeting. The Prime Minister directed to increase the green cover in the province by not only planting new trees, but by also protecting the existing ones.
Punjab Minister for Baitul Maal Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar was also present in the meeting. The Prime Minister was briefed on various welfare projects of Baitul Maal. The Prime Minister directed to take all possible measures to give maximum relief to the down trodden segments of society.
