Chief Coordinator FPCCI Mirza Abdul Rehman was received by All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association Founder President Haji Mamoor Khan and former President Syed Minhajuddin Bacha at Capital Office Islamabad. The two leaders apprised the exporters and the people associated with the James Stone sector of the problems faced and demanded from the platform of the federation to take steps to alleviate these problems. Haji Mamoor Khan and Syed Minhaj-ud-Din Bacha said that Pakistan This land is rich and full of precious gems, but unfortunately it did not get the benefit it deserved. This natural resource is still waiting for nuclear. He said that stone production has taken the form of an industry but due to inattention and lack of interest of the government this sector is in a dilapidated condition.

 

He said that the world’s best precious stones in terms of color and texture. They are found in the mountains of Pakistan from which crores of rupees are earned every year. He said that FPCCI should play its role for the development of gemstone industry. Speaking on the occasion, Mirza Abdul Rehman, Chief Coordinator, FPCCI, said that the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry was raising its voice at every forum for the economic and industrial development of Pakistan and the solution of the problems of the business community. He said that Pakistan is rich in mineral wealth and the foothills of this land are full of precious gems but unfortunately it did not get the benefit it deserved.

Mirza Abdul Rehman added that the establishment of industrial parks and James Laboratories is urgently needed to take advantage of the mineral wealth. The government should provide interest free and easy installment loans to the people involved in the James Stone business so that they can buy modern cutting machinery and invest in the precious stones sector to better promote and export this precious mineral wealth abroad. There are vast opportunities to earn foreign exchange from coins and minerals. It will revolutionize the economy and industry in the country and provide new employment opportunities for the youth. He said that he would soon meet the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Federal Minister for Commerce, Secretary Commerce and other concerned officials and play his full role in resolving their problems immediately.
