FPCCI held Pakistan independence day celebration

A national flag hoisting and Cake Cuting ceremony was held here at the federation of Pakistan Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (FPCC), Capital Office Islamabad. The ceremony witnessed Head FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad, Qurban Ali, Chief Coordinator Mirza Abdul Rehman, Fidousia Fazal, Founder Hazara Women CCI,  Neelam Khalid, President Rawalpindi Women Chamber, Asma Kanwal, Former President including Rahat Jabeen, Almas Akhtar, Ayesha Javed, Rabia Javed, Shazia Bibi, Naveeda Khan, Shahnaz Tariq, Shabana Ajmal, Mawara Aziz, Abida Yasmeen, Ghazala Yasmeen, Razia Sultan, Faryal Khawar, Azmi Rashid Butt Including a large number of business women from Islamabad and Rawalpindi participated.

Flag Hosting ceremony was alos held at the occasion, led by Mirza Abdul Rehman and Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Hazara Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well.

The participants commemorated Pakistan’s independence vowing to defend this great nation and its ideology put together by its illustrious founders. The day reminded them of their martyrs, paying tribute to their sacrifices. Scores were sacrificed to ensure the foundation of this nation and many a martyred in migration, ones in attendance decided to ensure that they were remembered saluting their efforts. The overall theme of the event was ‘peace, tolerance, harmony and honesty’.

Speaking on the occasion, Head FPCCI, Capital Office, Islamabad Qurban Ali, Chief Coordinator Mirza Abdul Rehman, Neelam Khalid, President Rawalpindi Women Chamber, Rakhsanda Jabeen, paid tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah for his sterling leadership and Cause for Pakistan, saying Pakistan was created to ensure social and economic equality for all its citizens.

He called for renewing the pledge to work for those ideals and to come up to the Quid’s expectations. He also urged on the politicians to show unity in their ranks and work for the progress and prosperity of this country. He said that the FPCCI would not stay behind and continue to play its role in the promotion of trade and economic activities in the country.

Head FPCCI, Capital Office, Islamabad Qurban Ali, Chief Coordinator Mirza Abdul Rehman, Neelam Khalid, President Rawalpindi Women Chamber, Rakhsanda Jabeen, said that the country was full of resources but unfortunately lack of coordination among various segments of society, these resources could not be tapped properly.

He expressed the optimism that the nation have to learn from its past mistakes and have to embark on the growth path for the benefit of the downtrodden.
