Parliamentary Secretary for water resources Mr. Salaeh Muhammad Khan Sawati visited FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad, and meet with Vice President SAARC CCI Haji Ghulam Ali & Coordinator FPCCI Mriza Abdul Rehman. In a joint statement issued here from FPCCI Islamabad office, it is stated that we stand united for the support to resolve the issues faced by the Business Community of Pakistan especially Small Chambers and SME Sector. For the economic revival and development of economy, continues and stable process is needed to be initiated in both Government and Private sectors.
Haji Ghulam Ali, Vice President SAARC CCI and Coordinator FPCCI thanked Mr. Saleh Muhammad Sawati (Parliamentary Secretary for Water resources) for his visit in FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad. They also agreed for mutual working to solve the problems faced by Business Community especially in COVID-19 situation. And also stated that FPCCI is platform of any Small Medium or Large Scale Trader Nation Wide, and working day and night to resolve the problems faced by business community of Pakistan.
Haji Ghulam Ali stated here that, we have serious concerns and reservations on government step in Budget to give rights of arrest to Income Tax circular officer, and this will not affect repute of the said businessman but also create more differences between government and Business Community of Pakistan. He added moreover here that Already COVID-19 situation affected Business Community of Pakistan , whereas from Government side there had been no support of any kind to the affectees of Covid-19 situation from the last approximately more than one and half years to the Business men of SME sector and Small Chambers as well. It is the responsibility of Government Officials to help out in resolving the problems faced by Business Community at any platform.
Mr. Saleh Muhammad Sawati, assured that he ensure to bring business community problems at every platform of Government for resolving, and it is important for us to work together both government and private sector for this purpose as well. And for this purpose he said that, he will visit President FPCCI and S.V.P. FPCCI offices soon. And will bring resolution in Parliament and will play positive role as Parliamentary Secretary also. He also added here that government is trying to create space for Business Community for economic development and also taking steps for investment friendly environment as well, tourism sector is also in our focus. Natural Resources are also available in Pakistan but what need is to facilitate it’s national and international investors to promote this sector’s business, He added. Role of Business Community for all these efforts cannot be ignored at any stage, he also added.
