India open Cyber front against Pakistan

An advanced persistent threat (APT) group based in India has tried to gain access to sensitive Pakistani government information, an advisory has been issued against Indian group APT saying that these hackers are trying to steal information through WhatsApp.

According to the details, the Modi government has also been active on the cyber front and has tried unsuccessfully to access sensitive government information. In this regard, another advisory has been issued against the Indian group APT. Reported Dunya News.

The advisory warns that the Indian group is trying to target government departments and access sensitive information through software.

Indian hackers are trying to steal information through the social media platform WhatsApp. The Indian group is capable of stealing software, username passwords and backup files.

The advisory recommends adopting a dual authentication system for social media platforms and not to open the MS Word file with email.
