Zong Partners with KP Govt to Support ‘Sehat Sahulat’ Program

Zong, Pakistan’s No.1 4G Network, has partnered with the Health department of KP to support its ‘Sehat Sahulat Programme’, an extensive health insurance scheme. An MoU signing ceremony was held in Peshawar in this regard, graced by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Parvaiz Khattak. Zong’s senior officials were led by Mr. Li Wenyu, Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Riaz Tanoli, Managing Director “Sehat Sahulat Programme” and Mr. Shahram Tarakai, Provincial Minister for Health were also present on the occasion.

Under the MoU, Zong, in collaboration with the provincial Ministry of Health, will distribute more than 1.7 Million SIMs to household beneficiaries of “Sehat Sahulat Programme”. Sehat Sahulat Program is an extensive five year health-care initiative launched by the government of KP in December last year that aims to improve access to health care of marginalized factions of society by improving their access to quality health services.

Zong is Pakistan’s largest, fastest and widest 4G network, providing 4G connectivity to over 200 cities and has recently been designated as the No.1 operator in voice and data services by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
