According to various confirmed reports, TelecoAlert.com can confirm that VimpelCom CEO Jean-Yves Charlier will be visiting Pakistan soon. Though the dates are not confirmed, it is however expected that he will be here for the merger between Warid and Mobilink. During his stay he will be meeting various people that include Finance Minister Dr. Ishaq Dar, State Minister Anusha Rehman and high officials of PTA and the Government.

He discuses mutual and bilateral issues with Minister of State Mrs Anusha Rehman regarding telecom industry. It is revealed telecom industry source that Mr Jeffrey met with Mrs Anusha Rehman to finalized meeting of Mr Jean-Yves Charlier in Islamabad.
