Mobile phone services may be shut down on Eid Milad-ul-Nabi

ISLAMABAD ( BMZ REPORT )

Mobile phone services may be shut down in the major cities across Pakistan on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal, Eid Milad-ul-Nabi due to security concerns.

It was said correctly by a troll on Facebook that ‘Rehman Malik is not the name of a person but of an ideology’ and current government and its interior ministry is following same principles and practices of legendary Rehman Malik. Mobile phone services shall remains suspended from 7 in the morning to 11pm in the night.

Despite measures to curb illegal mobile phones and implementation of system of biometric verification for release of SIMs, our federal and provincial law enforcing authorities have failed to come up with a more practical approach of averting security threats.
