ISLAMABAD (NADEEM REPORT )

The government has taken notice of the spread of hate speech on social media and mobile phones following the Rawalpindi tragedy.

The Ministry of Information Technology has been directed to identify data of hate material from cellular companies and internet service providers. The federal government has called for immediate action under existing law against individuals who spread hate speech via mobile phones and social media.
