It’s strong news that the marketing department of Ufone and Public relations wing failed to deliver its duties. That is why Mr. Abdul Aziz steps forward and takes charge himself. It is big change from his own routine where he actively shuns the media and remains in the background. But during the last few days he seems to have come out in the open.
Mr. Abdul Aziz President & CEO, Ufone recently opened his wallet account using Ufone’s branchless banking solution during a ceremony that marked the commencement of the branchless banking solution that company is going to offer to the public in coming days.
Mr. Rainer Rathgeber, Group Chief Commercial Officer at Etisalat, was already present at the first wallet opening ceremony of Ufone’s ‘Branchless Banking
Last month Ufone was granted the licence by State Bank of Pakistan to operate branchless banking nation wide with the brand name of U Microfinance Bank (formerly Rozgar Microfinance Bank Limited).
Ufone intends to start offering branchless banking solutions to masses, for which the pilot is already underway.
