Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) and COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with an aim to benefit from each other’s initiatives, expertise and working procedure and to support and assist the researchers associated with both the universities.
Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi (S.I.), Rector, CIIT and Maj. Gen. Gul Muhammad, HI (M), (Retd), Rector, FUI inked the MoU.
Lt. Gen. Asif Yasin Malik, HI (M), (Retd), Secretary Defence, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Mustafa Khan, HI(M), (Retd) Managing Director, Fauji Foundation, Ms. Riffat Shaheen Qazi, Secretary Ministry of Capital Administration & Development, Dr. Ijaz Shafi Gillani, Chairman, Gallup Pakistan and Lt. Gen. Naeem Khalid Lodhi HI (M), (Retd), Managing Director, Fauji Fertilizer Company were also present on the occasion.
The purpose of the MOU is to define the areas of collaboration both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, professional training, joint research and other academic services including Faculty Development Program (FDP), Supervision and Evaluation of PhD Research Work, Guest Speaker Sessions and Seminars.
