Ali Raza Mehdi joins ZONG family

Ali Raza Mehdi has been appointed as the Head of Human
Resource, Administration and Security at ZONG and will therefore bear human
resources responsibility for China Mobile Pakistan.

Ali has over 20 years of rich Human Resource Development and Management
experience both in domestic and international arenas. Ali has worked for various
multinational companies including Mobilink, Metro Cash and Carry Pakistan,
Pharmacia Corp (Pfizer), Etisalat, American Express TRS, ANZ Grindlays Bank and
Pakistan Tobacco Company.

His expertise and experience are in the areas of corporate organizational
development, change management, organizational assessment & analysis, cultural
transformation, H.R Strategy, executive coaching, transformational leadership &
team building, compensation strategy, merger integration and due diligence and
executive assessment and staffing.

ZONG entered Pakistan’s telecom industry in April 2008 and has now spread its
coverage across the country. Among all the Chinese investments in Pakistan,
China Mobile is the biggest investor in Pakistan. The telecom giant has invested
in Pakistan for 4 years and is also planning to expand its operations further in
near future.
