There have been rumors flying around that Mobilink is aiming to acquire Nayatel. Nayatel is one of the top internet providers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi that has made its mark due to its incredible high speed internet that is also reliable. So it was no surprise that many were shocked and amused by the rumors that it was being acquired by Mobilink.
After Aamir Ibrahim takeover, Mobilink has seen itself become an aggressive entity of the telecom sector. So, for many it wasn’t really something that they would dismiss easily.
However TelecoAlert.com found out that Nayatel is undergoing a massive expansion where it will see itself grow into Lahore and Faisalabad. It is due to this expansion that it is looking for investors. One of the potential investors is expected to be Mobilink. This was the source of rumors going around. If Mobilink is to invest in Nayatel, it will be becoming a shareholder in the company and not its owner.
