Mobilink Foundation supports the Disabled Welfare Association

.

ISLAMABAD ( PAKISTAN ) The Mobilink Foundation has extended support to the Disabled Welfare Association, Karachi (DWA), with the donation of tricycles, wheel chairs and ration bags.

Employee volunteers, known as the Mobilink Torchbearers, helped deliver the items to the DWA, using the opportunity to interact with the special children and adults, to encourage them to never give up and to always hold on to their dreams.

Omar Manzur, Director Public Relations and CSR, Mobilink added, “At Mobilink, it is our firm belief that such disabilities do not impose any limitations on potential and capability. People with disabilities are an essential part of our society, and as before Mobilink remains at the forefront of supporting their needs through the Mobilink Foundation.”

The Mobilink Foundation is involved in support activities for worthy causes across Pakistan. The Foundation’s flood relief efforts in 2011 have reached out to over 50,000 flood victims in Sindh, with further initiatives in planning for rehabilitation and provision of livelihood for flood victims.
