The JF-17 Thunder Block III emerged as the centre of attention at the Dubai Airshow 2025, highlighted by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a friendly nation for its purchase.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a delegation from the Pakistan Air Force is present in the UAE to participate in the high-profile aviation event.

During the show, the state-of-the-art JF-17 Thunder Block III generated exceptional interest among international visitors. The aircraft’s performance during demonstrations underscored its reliability and operational capability, attracting attention from multiple countries considering potential acquisitions.

The Pakistani military’s media wing confirmed that the MoU with the friendly nation marks a significant advancement in Pakistan’s defence and industrial collaboration. ISPR stated that the agreement highlights the growing international confidence in the JF-17 Thunder as a trusted combat aircraft.

The Dubai Airshow also featured renowned supersonic trainer aircraft, which were showcased alongside the JF-17, reflecting Pakistan’s diverse aerospace capabilities.
