Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has inaugurated the Pak-USA Joint Business Conference and Expo 2025, emphasizing the critical role of economic collaboration in forging a lasting partnership between the two nations.

The event, organized by Brain Designer Pakistan and Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries, in collaboration with US Pakistan International Chamber of Commerce (USPICC), brought together business leaders, traders, and investors to explore trade, investment, and commercial opportunities.

In his keynote address, Ambassador Rizwan Sheikh highlighted the immense potential of the U.S. market for Pakistani businesses and called for strategic adaptations to thrive in this dynamic economy. He praised the efforts of the Pakistani community and local associations, noting the event as a pivotal “seed-sowing exercise” to cultivate enduring bilateral relations.

He said Pakistan’s relations with the United States are best underwritten by economic, commerce, trade, and investment ties that can survive our generation if we sow the right seeds today. He said this conference would be a seed-sowing exercise leading to develop into a full blown forest.

He underscored the significance of U.S. as the world’s premier consumer market, essential to scaling global businesses. Drawing on Pakistan’s centuries-old tradition of trade along historic routes, the Ambassador encouraged Pakistani entrepreneurs to embrace formal business practices, form coalitions, and pool resources to meet the scale demanded by the American economy.  He also reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to supporting participants and refining their business models tailored to U.S. standards.

The day-long event brought together a good number of Pakistani companies from diverse sectors, including tourism, real estate, textiles, furniture, leather goods, pharmaceuticals & IT, to explore business opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and the United States.

The conference was also addressed by CEO Brain Designer Muhammad Rauf Raja, Chairman USPICC Muhammad Siddique Sheikh, President Rawalpindi Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries Sardar Saqib Nasim and Mayor of Occoquan Town in Prince William County Earnie Porta.
