Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, stated that the Iranian people will never forget Pakistan’s historic expression of brotherhood and support. In a message on X (formerly Twitter), he said: “The great nation of Iran is celebrating a dignified and decisive victory. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the government and people of Pakistan. Pakistan has stood firmly by our side with unwavering solidarity and support.”
He expressed special gratitude to: President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, General Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister, Khawaja Asif, Minister of Defence, Members of the National Assembly and Senate, Religious scholars, political parties, and media outlets in Pakistan for their principled and courageous support.
Dr. Amiri-Moghaddam also thanked Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its consistent and strong support of the Islamic Republic of Iran at various international platforms, including the United Nations, UN Security Council, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
He emphasized that the people and governments of Iran and Pakistan have always stood shoulder to shoulder throughout history in unity and brotherhood.”The Iranian people will never forget this historic expression of solidarity and brotherhood from the Pakistani nation.”
He concluded by saying that “This historic victory will remain etched in the collective memory of the Muslim Ummah as an eternal symbol of pride, strength, self-confidence, courage, and the ultimate triumph of truth over falsehood.”
