Members of Parliament pay tribute to military commanders, personnel, and nuclear scientists martyred in Israeli attacks

Tehran (Web News):
During a session of the Iranian Parliament, lawmakers chanted slogans of gratitude toward Pakistan, saying “Pakistan, thank you, thank you!” in recognition of its support for Iran in the conflict with Israel.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian praised Pakistan’s stance during his address to the Parliament, prompting members to vocally express appreciation. Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, strongly condemned Israel’s cowardly attacks on civilians and urged the Iranian nation to remain vigilant and united against the enemy.

During the session, lawmakers paid tribute to the Iranian military commanders, personnel, and nuclear scientists who were martyred in Israeli attacks.

It is worth noting that following Israel’s attacks on Iran, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian. PM Sharif expressed full solidarity with Iran, condemning Israel’s unprovoked and unjustified aggression.

He emphasized that the Israeli attack violated Iran’s sovereignty and regional integrity, as well as the UN Charter and international law. The Prime Minister affirmed that Iran has the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and reiterated Pakistan’s full solidarity with the Iranian government and its brotherly people.

Pakistan also raised the issue of the Israeli attack on Iran at the United Nations Security Council. Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram, stated that Iran has the right to self-defense under the UN Charter. He said the Israeli attack violated Iran’s sovereignty and regional integrity and posed a serious threat to peace, security, and stability. He added that Israel’s repeated violations of sovereignty were becoming routine.
