Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday alleged that a conspiracy was hatched against him to bring Shehbaz Sharif into power.

In a video address on Sunday, he claimed that the plan was initiated a year back and the main character behind it was slowly unveiled to him.

According to Khan, the mastermind of the plan was Gen ® Qamar Javed Bajwa, who made a deal with Sharif before the latter was punished in cases.

Mr Khan also accused Hussain Haqqani of being hired against him.

During his address, Mr Khan told that PTI released a white paper and described the disaster that happened in a year, stating that a few people in a closed room brought the country to this point.

He claimed that the government had inherited a deficit of 20 billion dollars in 2018, which took two years to deal with.

However, the government was successful in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, and the way it was handled was recognized by the world.

Mr Khan also accused the media of being controlled by unknown persons who threatened media owners to blackout him.

Mr Khan further claimed that his party, PTI, did not want chaos and had been accused of spreading it.

He also alleged that cases of treason were registered against him for calling people names, such as Dirty Harry and a psychopath.

He further accused the current government of being cruel to PTI’s workers and torturing them while they were fasting.

Mr Khan said that during his time, the economy was booming and 5.5 million people were employed in three years. Agriculture was growing at four and a half percent, and the sugar mill mafia was made to pay farmers full-time by the PTI government.

However, the growth rate has now fallen below zero point four from six percent, and according to the World Bank, four million people have gone below the poverty line.

Mr Khan also criticized the current government’s policies, claiming that by taking loans, exports would decrease further and loans would increase.

He said that during his time, petrol was expensive in the world market, but now it is cheap. The situation has worsened again, and the status of Parliament has ended, governance institutions have been destroyed, and NAB, FIA, and the Election Commission have been destroyed.

Imran Khan spoke out against the actions of the caretaker government and their treatment of him and his workers.

Mr Khan criticized the government’s lack of neutrality, stating that they had put over 3100 workers in jail and attacked him personally.

He also revealed that when he was Prime Minister, unknown persons had put his servants on the payroll.

Mr Khan went on to speak about the importance of institutions in a country, stating that when they are destroyed, the country is destroyed.

Mr Khan also mentioned the security of the country being put at risk in order to save famous bandits.

The former PM went on to discuss historical examples of election interference, citing the separation of Bangladesh due to a lack of democracy.

He claimed that the mandate of Mujibur Rahman was not accepted, leading to the collapse of Dhaka.

Mr Khan also criticized the opposition parties, claiming that they have no concern for Pakistan and are only interested in their own agendas.

He accused them of attempting to delay elections through the London plan, which he believes is a ploy to avoid losing to the PTI.
