The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir organized a ceremony in honor of the leading businessmen of the region, including the Azad Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in which the business community participated in large numbers. President and CEO Mr. Khawar Saeed while briefing on the bank’s development, said that the bank is getting the best business results by making progress towards scheduling.
In this regard, the Governor and Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan while in meeting with Bank Chairman Khan Abdul Majid Khan and CEO Khawar Saeed, lauded the performance of BAJK and acknowledged that the state’s most profitable institution is providing professional banking services. Business community was further informed that the bank’s profit was recorded an increase of 110 % in 2022 and the profit increased from Rs 139 million to Rs 961 million in the last three years. Assets have increased from Rs 13 billion to Rs 28 billion. Remittances from abroad have increased from Rs 86 crore to Rs 4.6 billion and deposits have increased from Rs 11 billion to Rs 21 billion. The bank will join the most successful banks by promoting the business , its reputation, and playing a positive role in scheduling. MCCI President Faisal Manzoor, including former presidents and business leaders made their suggestions and said that they would promote the the bank and its business.
