Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has provided loans of more than 2.09 billion rupees to the employees of AJK government and autonomous institutions of the under the “Advance Salary Scheme”, while the Advance Salary loan limit has been enhanced to 20 lakh rupees. Mr. Khawar Saeed, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, said in a business review meeting that the Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while playing a positive role in the socio-economic development of the state, has the lowest markup rate in the market under the Advance Salary Scheme and is providing loans to customers on easy terms. A large number of needy customers are benefiting from the provision of loans under the fastest processing. According to the BAJK spokesperson, customers access and prompt payment of loan schemes like housing finance, gold loan, personal loan, car financing, motorcycle loan, home appliances, SME, micro, commercial, tourism development and healthcare etc. the economic development of AJK is accelerating. The spokesman further said that the Bank has exceeded the targets with the help of AJK government, Board of Directors, especially the Chairman’s patronage, the supervision and leadership of President/CEO Khawar Saeed, the hard work of the staff, team work, and the support of customers.
