APHC condemns in harshest terms attachment of its office in occupied Kashmir

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the slueths of Indian infamous National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sunday, attached the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) office in Srinagar.
Officials told the media that the NIA team arrived at Rajbag in Srinagar and attached the office.
It is to be mentioned that Additional Session Judge of a Delhi court, Shailender Malik, yesterday, had ordered the attachment of the Hurriyat office, Srinagar, in a fake case related to funding in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, APHC strongly condemned the attachment of its office in Srinagar by officials of the Indian infamous NIA.
The spokesman said the APHC office is public property and highlights miseries of the Kashmiris by Indian troops, which they have been facing for the past over seven decades.
He also expressed concern over the land eviction drive unleashed by the Indian authorities to hand it over to outsiders to set up industries in the occupied territory. This move will further disempower and pauperize people of Jammu and Kashmir, he added.
He said that people of IIOJK are already at the receiving end since the revocation of 35A when the Indian government notified that any Indian citizen can purchase non-agricultural land in the territory and subsequently further notified a new set of rules that allowed the change of title of agricultural land to non-agricultural on fulfilling conditions.
The spokesman said all these are attempts to accelerate and facilitate the settlement of outsiders in IIOJK to bring about demographic change in the composition of the territory, while keeping the people entangled in fighting for basic sustenance. He said, “APHC condemns this mindset. These actions will only vitiate the atmosphere as the sense of insecurity and frustration among people of Kashmir wills increases and they will naturally react.”
He urged both the governments of India and Pakistan to come to the dialogue table and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute and give real peace a chance in the region. Once this dispute is resolved, permanent peace will be established in the region, the spokesman maintained.
