WorldCall Telecom Limited signs Walter Pakistan

WorldCall Telecom Limited, an Oman Telecommunication Company (Omantel), has appointed Walter Pakistan (A division of WPP Marketing Communications) as its communication partners to handle its consolidated marketing communication, following an agreement signing on the 19th of Feb. 2014. This move is in line with WorldCall’s strategy of focusing avidly on a comprehensive, cohesive and an aggressive marketing plan from this year. Walter Pakistan with its vast experience of working on global brands and with the backing of WPP’s strong global network will not only work on setting the main course of WorldCall as a brand but also set the tone for other brands in the brewing group’s portfolio, including Digital TV, Cable and Internet services.

The agreement signing was done at WTL head office in Lahore and was attended by executives from both WorldCall and Walter. CEO WorldCall Telecom, Mr. Babar Ali Syed and President Walter Pakistan, Mr. Imran Afzal, signed the agreement. At the end of the signing ceremony CEO WorldCall Mr. Babar Ali Syed said: “We have some very ambitious plans for WTL entering 2014 and we are looking forward to working with the team at Walter Pakistan to help achieve them.” President Walter Pakistan Mr. Imran Afzal Said: “In the long term, Walter will help WorldCall to build a strong connection with their consumers and to become an intrinsic part of the social fabric of the consumer base.”
