Pakistan Telecom authority has been indicated Mobile companies to shut down mobile service during Muharram (Ashura). With fears of terrorists attack is high in different cities. In the light of information gathered by intelligence agencies Ministry Interior advised Pakistan Telecom Authority to prepare for shut down service in different cities on different time.
Last Muharram telecom service was shut down on 8th Muharram but this year there is no shut down. But it is expecting that in major cities some areas may be black out for cellular services. Butt more than fifteen cities will be face full shut down.
