PTCL has arranged a training workshop for executives and business leaders

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has arranged a training workshop for executives and business leaders on ‘Performance Excellence through Creativity and Ownership’. The training workshop was geared towards enabling executives and business leaders in implementing continuous innovation and improvement to achieve performance excellence in various business spheres of the company.

The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Sunil Gupta who is honored to be the ‘Life Time Master Trainer’ of Edward De Bono’s tools. Dr. Gupta has a unique honor of conducting training sessions for tens of thousands of employees from top 100 companies of the world and brings in rich industry and consulting experience of 38 countries.

 Syed Mazhar Hussain, PTCL SEVP HR while shedding light on the workshop said that, “The success of any organization is founded on the knowledge and exposure of the people who work for it. Change has become the norm rather than the exception and continuous learning throughout one’s career is essential to remain relevant in the workplace”.

The workshop was tailored for PTCL’s unique business and corporate environment, and comprised of various creative strategies to adopt a new approach for various business spheres based on Edward De Bono’s tools of Idea Generation and Lateral Thinking. More than 500 participants from various functions of PTCL were enlightened by the excellent ideas generated during the course of the workshops, held at Karachi and Islamabad.

In addition to the senior leadership of PTCL and representatives from Ufone, the workshop was also attended by SVP HR, Etisalat Group UAE, Faiez Awadh. In his closing remarks, Faiez appreciated the efforts of PTCL management for arranging such valuable and highly effective international workshops for its employees.
