Islamabad Police e-complaint system will be introduced soon

Striving towards excellence and making Islamabad Police as modern force, e-complaint system will be introduced soon in policing affairs to inform the complainants about the progress in their cases.

The work on the projects including e-complaints and e-data base is underway and it would be launched soon making Islamabad Police as a distinct force.

According to these projects, Islamabad Police officials would coordinate with the citizens and inform them about development of their cases.

The police sources said that to the force for improving its performance and use of information technology is being ensured in policing affairs to give better output.

The sources said that all possible steps are being taken to secure the city and ensure protection to the lives and property of the citizens. He said that acquaintance with modern technology for policeman is very essential to effectively combat criminal elements. He said Islamabad Police would be made more responsive through introduction of this strictly supervised tool and hoped for further effective policing in future.

During the last two days, Islamabad Police impounded seven vehicles, two motorbikes and also nabbed one person wanted to police through using ‘intelligent mobile verification system’.

The personnel of Islamabad Police are conducting checking at various points of the city and ensuring effective policing measures through use of this technology.

Islamabad Police have created a customised database with three components that include registration data of vehicles, data of stolen vehicles and crime record of proclaimed offenders, court absconders, military deserters, challaned and convicted persons. In order to access the database, picket in-charges and patrol officers have been given dedicated GSM Subscriber Identity Modules (SIMs).

During the last two days, personnel of Islamabad police impounded seven cars and two motorbikes with bogus number plates and incorrect particulars. An accused was also nabbed wanted to police in criminal case.

The vehicles impounded with bogus number plates or numbers include ZZ-142 recovered from Ikhlaq Ahmed s/o Muhammad Bux resident of Sardarpur Noon, Sargodha, IDN-5111 recovered from Yasir Sakhi Butt s/o Sakhi Butt, resident of House no.36, Sector F-8/2, Y-140 recovered from Umer Farooq Khan, IDE-3205 recovered from Jan Sher Malik.

The cars with incorrect records were also recovered which include RL-506, WE-545, RL-151 while impounded motorbikes include DQ-726 and WM-445. The nabbed person Nasir Abbassi s/o Zaheen Abbassi, resident of District Bagh, Azad Kashmir, was wanted to police in case 103/13 while and Afghan national Farhad was arrested for having fake CNIC.
