IHC has dismissed a petition against PTCL

Islamabad (MEDIA)

The Islamabad High Court has dismissed a petition against Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) filed by a dismissed employee to stop the internal transfers and postings of employees.

According to details, the petition was challenged by PTCL lawyer. Islamabad High Court accepted PTCL’s application, declaring that there are no restrictions on transfers and postings. The court further directed that only those employees contesting the elections shall not be transferred.

PTCL Executive Vice President (EVP) HR, Farooq H Malik said few dismissed employees are constantly trying to malign the organization by provoking employees to act against the management. They have been trying to mislead the courts through their negative tactics.

He further said that transfers and posting are just and necessary for the organization. The court’s decision has proved that there is no legitimacy in the propaganda of these people and that company has all the rights reserved to undertake transfers and postings as and when it requires. PTCL has always ensured that court’s directives must be followed; furthermore, the company reserves the right to take disciplinary actions against the people involved for misguiding the employees and the courts.
